You can draw a continuous line on the image. Click where you want to start the line and release it when you reached the end position.

The soft edges option can be applied on it. You can select the brush size and shape.

If you hold down the Shift key while drawing, you can draw vertical, horizontal and 45 degree lines. Using the Esc key you can cancel the drawing.
